Political leaders need to be careful of what they say.
The Inkatha Freedom Party leader Velenkosini Hlabisa says KwaZulu-Natal senior leaders need tonbe careful of what they say.
He was speaking on the KwaCeza incident that left more than a dozen people hurt last weekend. Economic Development MEC and ANC provincial chair, Sboniso Duma grabbed the mic from Zulu traditional prime Minister and IFP NEC member, Thulasizwe Buthelezi. This was while Buthelezi was making comments about ANC politicians at an event to commemorate the death of King Dinuzulu.
Duma accused him of using a government occasion to criticism opponents.
Yesterday Hlabisa condemned statement by the ANC in KZN and the provincial government in which they slammed Buthelezi, for using the wrong platform for his utterances.
Some words which were used you won't find them said by ANC leaders at a national level. That is different, you find between ANC in KwaZulu-Natal and aNC at a national level.
You can't want peace on the one hand but on the other hand you are carrying paraffin and pouring it on the fore while you are trying to calm it. All leaders must be careful of what they say.
